About Us
As far as I can remember the Greater Los Angeles Radio Control
Racing Club has been in existence since the 70's. At least
that's when my Dad took me to a meeting in the old Crenshaw
District to see what this was all about. That's where I met
Glenn Williams and his dad for the first time. Running Jerobee's
with 049 and 051 Teedee engines at the time. The sport has come
a long way since then. Manufacturers have come and gone, tracks
have come and gone, we have been all over the place, Los
Angeles, Santa Fe Springs, Santa Monica, Carson and now the Transit Center. But
one thing is for certain, GLARCRC keeps plugging along.
The core group has been together for decades. While some have come and gone they always seem to find their way back. The club, headed by President Glenn Williams and Vice President Tom Wong is dedicated in providing a great racing experience to all that attend our races.
